Só pra não deixar pedra sobre pedra, a Square-Enix resolveu arregaçar as mangas, colocar os peões pra trabalhar, e anunciar oficialmente, via Press Release, a existência do jogo supremo, o One Game to Rule Them All, Chrono Trigger DS!

Esta edição renovada mantém o espírito todos os elementos originais do jogo, ao mesmo tempo que introduz a portabilidade, apresentação em duas telas e funcionalidades de tela de toque do Nintendo DS.

Mais novidades? Bom, a maior delas talvez seja a confirmação da data: “holiday season”. Isso significa fim de Novembro, começo de Dezembro. A respeito do jogo em si, consta no release algo muito interessante: modo de batalha multiplayer Wi-Fi. Interessante? Provavelmente, apesar de dispensável. Chrono Trigger só é a lenda que é por causa da sua história e dos seus personagens. O sistema de batalha é ótimo também, mas só um dos muitos detalhes.

Outra confirmação foi a de uma dungeon nova, o que é sempre bom. Especialmente se ela acabar servindo para abrir um novo final, ou algo assim.
